Domestic Shipping

The following shipping charges apply to all orders shipped to addresses within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Payment of the required charge for shipping must be included with your order! All orders are shipped via the US Postal Service at the lowest reasonable cost. Most packages are shipped by the USPS Ground Advantage service; we do not use Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, or Media Mail services due to cost or frequent package damage. Some orders consisting of smaller, flat products (e.g., decals) are shipped by First-Class Mail service. The shipping charge also includes a small amount for packaging materials such as boxes, tape, and labels. There is no shipping charge for items not requiring shipping, such as FEBT memberships, donations to the FEBT, or delivery of digital products, if offered. The price for some items includes shipping and is disclosed in the product description. The total shipping charge for your order is displayed on each page when you checkout.

Due to recent increases to USPS shipping rates, a 10% surcharge is added to the base shipping rates explained below to ship to states east of the Mississippi River and Washington DC, and a 25% surcharge to ship to states west of the Mississippi River.

Drawings, Plans, and Maps The shipping charge for small (8.5 inches by 11 inches) drawings is $5.00 for 1-10 items containing one or two sheets, $6.00 for 11-20 items, etc. The shipping charge for one packet containing four small drawings is $5.00 plus $1.00 for each additional packet. The shipping charge for each set of 22 HAER drawings reduced to 8.5 inches by 11 inches is $7.00. The shipping charge for 1-5 Trains Magazine EBT maps is $5.00, $10.00 for 6-10, etc. The shipping charge for all other drawings, plans, and maps is $10.00 for the 1-5 items, $15.00 for 6-10 items, etc.

Historic Photographs The shipping charge for 1-10 photos is $6.25, $12.50 for 11-20, etc.

Video and Audio Disks and Tapes The shipping charge for video and audio disks and tapes is $5.00 for one item and $2.50 for each additional item.

Books and Magazines The shipping charge for hardbound books is $10.00 for the first book plus $3.75 for each additional hardbound book. The shipping charge for large or heavy books is $12.50 for the first item plus $2.50 for each additional item. For softcover and spiral-bound books, the shipping charge is $7.50 for the first item plus $2.50 for each additional item. The shipping charge for magazines is $5.00 for 1, $7.50 for 2-3, $12.00 for 4-5, and $15.00 for more than 5. Magazine quantities are for any one issue or combination of different issues.

Models and Modeling Supplies The shipping charge for block and detail paper, and asphalt siding paper is $6.25 for any number of sheets. The charge for printed signs and decals is $3.25 for any quantity per order. The charge for large-scale dry-transfer lettering is $3.25 for any quantity per order. Shipping is free for each HO-scale Machine Shop kit, Boiler Shop kit, and Car Shop kit. The shipping charge for one HO scale handcar shed or passenger shelter kit is $5.00, or $7.50 for two or more. For one O scale handcar shed or passenger shelter kit, the charge is $7.50, or $10.00 for two or more. The shipping charge for each Carpenter Shop kit and Storehouse kit is $10.00. The shipping charge for 1:20.3 scale rolling stock kits is $18.75 for each kit. The shipping charge for each ready to run train set is $12.99. The shipping charge for all other models and modeling supply items is $8.25 for up to two items and $1.25 for each additional item above two.

1983 FEBT Newsletters The shipping charge for each set of 1983 FEBT Newsletters is $5.00.

The Timber Transfer The following charges for shipping apply to orders for back issues of The Timber Transfer: $5.00 for 1-4 issues; $6.25 for 5-12 issues; $7.50 for 13-24 issues; $8.75 for 25-36 issues; $10.00 for 37 or more issues; and $18.75 for each complete set.

Clothing and Caps The shipping charge for caps is $6.25 for any quantity.

Miscellaneous Items The shipping charge for the 2025 EBT Calendar is $6.25 plus $1.25 for each additional calendar above one. The shipping charge for EBT Locomotive Number Tie Tacks, EBT Locomotive Number Pins, FEBT Logo Pins and FEBT Logo Patches is $6.25 per order. The shipping charge for FEBT refrigerator magnets is $3.75 each.

International Shipping

Shipping Charges for all orders shipped to addresses outside the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii are determined by a Company Store Manager. When a customer places an order for delivery to an international destination, you must request a shipping quote by clicking the Request Quote button in the Shipping Method section of the checkout page. The request is automatically emailed to the Company Store Manager. After the shipping charge is determined, the quote is returned to the customer who then signs back into the Company Store, enters the shipping quote, and completes the checkout payment process. We use one of the USPS International Mail services to ship packages to our international customers.

Returns

If an item needs to be returned, please contact the FEBT Company Store in advance for authorization and instructions.
