Narrow Gauge to Boston: A Nostalgic Window on the Boston, Revere Beach & Lynn Railroad (2010), by Frank Kyper.

Fans of the East Broad Top Railroad will recognize the Boston, Revere Beach & Lynn Railroad as the source of six EBT passenger cars, but the BRB&L had an interesting history in its own right. A high-density commuter railroad dating from 1876, the BRB&L relied on Mason-bogie steam locomotives to power its passenger trains. On the eve of the Great Depression the BRB&L converted to electric operation; the debt incurred led to bankruptcy and abandonment in 1940. Text, two maps, many black-and-white photos. Softbound, 112 pages.
