The Roy Wilburn Story: The Man Behind the EBT (1995), by Ron Morgan.

C. Roy Wilburn (1903-1991) started his career in the engineering department of Madeira, Hill and Company, which through its 1919 purchase of the Rockhill Iron and Coal Company owned the EBT. After the 1936 bankruptcy of Madeira, Hill, Wilburn remained with the reorganized coal company and became responsible for operation of the coal transfer plant at Mount Union. In 1952 Wilburn became EBT operating vice president, a position he retained when the Kovalchick Salvage Company acquired the assets of the railroad and coal companies in 1956.
