East Broad Top Railroad (2008), by Kenneth C. Springirth

This book, one in Arcadia Publishing's extensive series of state and local histories, reproduces 200 black-and-white photographs of the East Broad Top Railroad. Many photos from the EBT's common-carrier era were provided by the railroad itself; the author is responsible for photos of current operations. Text primarily consists of photo captions, with an introduction and short prefaces to each of the book's four chapters (one of which deals with the Rockhill Trolley Museum). Several interesting items from Pennsylvania Railroad material include a ground plan for the Mount Union station. Some maps, timetables, drawings, and sketches; softbound, 128 pages.
