FEBT New Membership or Membership Renewal

Your membership in the FEBT gives you the opportunity to assist in the preservation and restoration of East Broad Top Railroad. Your membership dues help fund the many programs that the FEBT offers, including restoration activities, the museum and collections acquisition, our efforts to document the operation of the railroad, its history and its buildings, our outreach programs designed to educate the public about the history and importance of the EBT and our continuing efforts to encourage dialog within the community of government, industry, public, and private groups interested in protecting, preserving, and restoring the East Broad Top Railroad.

The benefits of Individual Membership include:

• A subscription to Timber Transfer and all other periodic FEBT newsletters and publications.
• Discounted registration fees for FEBT-sponsored events.
• Free admission to the museum complex and gift shop in Robertsdale.
• A 15-percent discount on all merchandise purchased from the FEBT Company Store or at the Robertsdale museum.
• Eligibility to join a restoration crew (if of the approved age.)
• Eligibility to vote in elections of directors and to hold FEBT office under provisions established by the FEBT Nominations and Elections Policy.

The following memberships are available to those individuals who wish to join the FEBT. (All dues are in US Dollars.)

• Individual Membership – Annual Dues: $35.00 ($45.00 for non-US residents.) Individual members receive all of the benefits described above.
• Family Membership – Annual Dues: $45.00 ($55.00 for non-US residents.)
  A Family Membership includes one Individual Membership plus additional benefits for family members. With a Family Membership, another adult, and children under the age of 18, all residing at the same address as the Individual Member, may participate in FEBT-sponsored events and worksessions and receive member discounts. Family memberships receive one copy of FEBT publications, and only the Individual Member is eligible to vote and hold office.
• Sustaining Family Membership – Annual Dues: $100.00 (Of this amount $55.00 represents a tax-deductible donation to the FEBT.)
  Sustaining Family Members provide additional financial support for the operations of the FEBT.
• Associate Family Membership – Annual Dues: $150.00 (Of this amount $105.00 represents a tax-deductible donation to the FEBT.)
  Associate members provide significant additional financial support for the operations of the FEBT. An Associate Membership also includes annual recognition in Timber Transfer magazine and/or the FEBT annual report.
• Life Membership – One-Time Payment: $1000.00 (Note that no part of this payment qualifies as a tax-deductible donation to the FEBT.)
  Life members receive a Family Membership during the Individual Member’s lifetime.
• Student/Senior Individual Membership – Annual dues: $30.00 ($40.00 for non-US residents.)
  This is a reduced rate for full-time students age 21 or younger and persons 65 years of age or older. However, you must be 18 years old or older to join a restoration crew.

To help defray costs of postage, members with mailing addresses outside the United States holding Individual Membership, Family Membership, or Student/Senior Individual Membership categories pay an additional $10.00 over the regular domestic annual membership dues. Thus for these members, the effective annual dues are $45.00, $55.00, and $40.00 respectively.

A membership number will be assigned and emailed to you immediately after completing checkout. You will then receive the FEBT member discount on subsequent purchases.

If you have an existing membership or ever had a membership in the FEBT, leave the transaction type at the default value of "Membership Renewal" below "Please Choose". Then select your location and membership category. Change the number in the box next to "Add to Cart:" to renew your membership for multiple years if desired. Then click the "Add to Cart" button. You may then continue shopping or checkout.

Click "Yes" next to "Gift?" below to tell us this membership order is a gift for someone else. Please create an account on this site if you have not yet done so and sign in before purchasing a membership gift. Select the transaction type, your location, desired membership category, and "Yes" for gift. Change the number in the box next to "Add to Cart:" to purchase a membership gift for multiple years if desired. Then click the "Add to Cart" button. A form will be displayed for you to enter the gift recipient's name, address and other details. Click the "Submit the Information" button below the form when finished; the gift membership will be added to your cart. For new membership gifts, the new FEBT membership number will be provided to the recipient by the FEBT Membership Office.
